Rose Cottage is situated in the village of Huggate in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The Wolds are often considered Yorkshire’s hidden secret, the soft rolling hills makes it ideal surroundings for walkers and cyclists.
The chalky grasslands makes it a haven for birds and wildlife, red kites are often seen circling above and an abundance of different wildlife can be seen from the road side. The Wolds are surrounded by major roads and motorway links from all directions and a 45 minute drive from the nearest airport. From the south the city of York sits only a short drive away and the north offers the stunning Yorkshire coastline and the North York Moors.

Both A1 and M1 connect us from the north and south. A short drive on both the A64 and then the A166 brings you to Huggate
High speed train links York to both London in the south and Edinburgh in the north. A taxi ride will then bring you to Huggate
